The Black Ball Coho terminal is at 101 E Railroad Avenue on the Port Angeles waterfront. The crossing takes about 90 minutes. Use the official sailing schedule and reservations to choose an actual outbound and return pair before booking a day trip.
Arrive 30 minutes early on foot or by bicycle. For a vehicle departure, allow 60 minutes in Port Angeles and generally 90 minutes in Victoria; the early 6:10 a.m. sailing has a different allowance. Read the current check-in instructions for your departure.

The Coho carries foot passengers and vehicles between downtown Port Angeles and Victoria. The 90-minute crossing takes you across the Strait of Juan de Fuca to a walkable starting point for Victoria’s Inner Harbour.
Allow check-in, border procedures and disembarkation around the sailing. Then build the Victoria day from the time between arrival and your return check-in.
Travel on foot for an Inner Harbour and downtown visit. Take a vehicle for an onward road trip or destinations beyond central Victoria. Reserve the vehicle space with your sailing and include parking in the Canada-side plan.
